DESCRIPTION

Everyone is aware of the terrible incidents of violence plaguing churches and houses of worship around the country. Today no space seems “sacred” not even God’s house. Join us as our speaker:

  • describes the depth of the threat
  • identifies blind spots churches may have regarding their potential exposure to violence/crime
  • suggests strategies and resources that pastors and ministry leaders can use to be better prepared

Bill Gleason is a 28 year veteran of the Prince George’s County Police Department. He is currently the Officer In Charge of the Specialized Training Section at the Training & Education Division. Bill is a recognized expert in Active Threat Mitigation. He has taught classes around the country for law enforcement, military and civilian groups. Bill has on scene experience on Active Shooting incidents that have occurred in the Metropolitan area. Bill also teaches instructors from around the country on how to prepare and respond to Active Threat incidents.
