Ministry Renewal Forum II
7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
FINANCIAL INTEGRITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY FOR CHURCHES & FAITH-BASED NONPROFITS
ABOUT THE FORUM
In January 2011, Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA), a member of the Senate
Finance Committee, asked the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability
(ECFA) to facilitate responses on policy issues related to financial accountability
for religious nonprofits. The result was the Commission on Accountability and
Policy for Religious Organizations. Join us on Monday, June 17, 2013 for a timely
discussion about possible policy changes that may impact you.
Rob Eby, CPA of Aronson, LLC, will be leading a discussion about the
Commission’s findings and how the policy changes will impact you, including:
- Senior leadership compensation
- Love offerings and housing allowances
- Self-regulation
- Donor engagement
- Administration of the law
NOTE! This forum will also feature a special Legal Update courtesy of Gammon & Grange, P.C.

Regent Bridges Seminar II
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
DEVELOPING THE VANGUARD!
Transformational Leadership & the 21st Century Church
A different world cannot be built by indifferent people.
“The goal of transformational leadership is to ‘transform’ people and organizations in a literal sense – to change them in mind and heart; enlarge vision, insight, and understanding; clarify purposes; make behavior congruent with beliefs, principles, or values; and bring about changes that are permanent, self-perpetuating, and momentum building.”
“And be ye not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).
ABOUT THE SEMINAR:
Building on the lessons of the sons of Issachar “who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do” this seminar centers on the simple idea that a different world cannot be built by indifferent people or church. An interactive session with handouts and ‘workshop’ components, ‘Developing the Vanguard’ shares critical intelligence for our times. Together, we explore the lessons and urgent applications of transformational leadership in a modern church setting, focusing on transformation as a revolution of thinking and doing. The hoped for outcome of this seminar is a manifestation of God’s transformative power, that leaves His people equipped to lead the charge in a complex, fractious, and increasingly globalized world.
