Community Transformation Initiative

Project Bridges is committed to developing and strengthening the evangelistic outreach and community service efforts of the local church. The Bible makes it clear that serving God ultimately translates into serving others. When we serve others we glorify God by building up His Church (The Body of Christ). We believe that service is absolutely necessary and every born-again believer should be engaged in Christian service outside the four walls of their churches/ministries. The Project Bridges Community Transformation Initiative is our visible and tangible Biblical response to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20).

The Project Bridges Community Transformation Initiative provides, free of charge, material goods needed to strengthen the outreach and services of Christian faith-based organizations and schools serving area children and families in need. The material goods (furnishings, personal hygiene products, diapers, household goods, school supplies, etc.) come via our partnership with World Vision USA. Through the generosity of this partnership and the commitment of our faith partners Project Bridges can leverage the exponential power of UNITY in the Body of Christ to serve those most in need.

Our twenty-five (25) faith partners and select Title I schools also administer critical services that strengthen the self-esteem, resilience, and spiritual, personal, social, and financial development of low-income populations, who are increasingly compromised by today’s challenges, including stagnant wages, limited affordable housing options, and skyrocketing medical and food costs.
